Swiss Federal Railways Contract

Swiss Federal Railways Contract

Prysmian Group was awarded a new contract for a frame agreement worth approximately €26 million by SBB CFF FFS, the Swiss Federal Railways company.

The contract includes the supply of a total of approximately 2,800 km of signalling cables for the upgrade of the Swiss railways infrastructure. Contract management is being coordinated by our team in Switzerland; the cables will be manufactured in Germany (Berlin) and delivered on a call-off basis over a period of five years from October 2014 to the end of 2019.

“This is a successful example of intercompany cooperation within the Group, which fully met SBB’s expectations”
